Orange Bucket Seafood Recipe

Here's a recipe for a Cajun-style range bucket seafood boil:
Ingredients:
- 1 pound shrimp, deveined and shell-on
- 1 pound crab legs
- 1 pound mussels, cleaned and debearded
- 1 pound clams, cleaned
- 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
- 4 ears of corn, husked and cut into thirds
- 1 pound baby potatoes, halved
- 1 onion, quartered
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
- 2 lemons, halved
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Melted butter (for serving)
Instructions:
- Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add the Cajun seasoning, Old Bay seasoning, quartered onion, minced garlic, and lemon halves. Let the spices and aromatics infuse the water for about 10 minutes.
- Add the potatoes to the pot and cook for about 10 minutes or until they are just starting to become tender.
- Add the sliced sausage and corn to the pot and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Add the crab legs, mussels, clams, and shrimp to the pot. Give everything a gentle stir.
- Cover the pot and let it cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and the mussels and clams open up. Discard any mussels or clams that do not open.
- Once the seafood is cooked, carefully drain the pot, discarding the cooking liquid.
- Transfer the cooked seafood, sausage, corn, and potatoes to a large serving platter or a clean table covered with newspaper or butcher paper.
- Sprinkle the seafood boil with chopped parsley for garnish.
- Serve the range bucket seafood with melted butter on the side for dipping. Provide plenty of napkins or paper towels as it can get messy!
Enjoy this Cajun-style range bucket seafood boil with friends and family for a delicious and fun meal.
